Recently I enjoyed some (ad)ventures into other areas of science,

One is based on just regular intro-level mechanics applied to rock climbing.
We had some fun recording data while jumping off a cliff.

The endeavor of getting the results published were fun-2.
If you like to see a sample of an extra-galactic "scientific" review process, look here

The other is about finance/investing. It analyzes how so-called leveraged index funds work.
If you are interested to read about investments which have a high potential to cause sleepless nights, read here.
